I have to admit, the first time I went to Universal Orlando, I was in Florida for Disneyworld. While I was planning the trip, I looked at what Universal Orlando had to offer and thought, “Well, that sounds pretty fun…maybe we can take a couple of days and see what it’s all about.” Best decision of my life!
No doubt about it, Universal Orlando gets overshadowed by the behemoth that we call Disneyworld. Now don’t get me wrong…I love Disneyworld. But I found Universal Orlando to be unique and just as enjoyable in its own way. Some of the attractions were even more creative and addicting. (I lost track of how many times we went on Men In Black. Once just isn’t enough!) There’s so much information about Disneyworld out there, but not much about Universal Orlando, which isn’t fair because it has so much to offer.
So here I am…writing in cyberspace about one of my new favorite theme parks. Could be I end up writing to myself, but that’s okay. This blog is dedicated to all that Universal Orlando has to offer. May it take its place next to the other Orlando giant!
